Not if the modern era includes Georgie Best.  That wouldn't even make his personal top ten.   Wink

To be honest I think that's a good goal and placed just right but the build-up was non-existent and the defense was on holiday.  He had two soft touches and still had eight yards of space.  The left mid was literally scratching his head.

Nah, sorry.  There will be at least one goal topping that during the first week of the English season.

If you like long range goals here are a couple from Matty Taylor.

yeh, it was the distance and placement that really wowed me.   a keeper should be able to stop that , even the in absence of a marking defender.  I mean waht was that 28 m ?

Have you been there yet? Parking is an absolute cluster*fudge*, not to mention woefully inadequate. If you don't mind walking a bit, I'd recommend taking Trax.

LOL @ stroh.

We lucked into suite tickets and nob parking passes.  I believe we'll be escorted through the proles and given glasses of chilled melon spritzers for the walk up to our comfortable yet functional seats.

But yeah, whose stupid idea was it to build that place with State Street as the primary ingress/egress?
