I just renewed the Yahoo league we used last year. The draft is tentatively set for Fri Sep 4 6:00pm PDT (9pm Eastern). I remember there were some issues with the draft time last year, so please suggest a preferred date/time soon. The URL is: http://football.fantasysp....yahoo.com/league/golfhosIf you want an invite, send me a PM or post something in this thread. People who played last year should have already gotten an email. Prize is tbd. Our ad revenue is way down this year (much fewer danica lurkers), so it might not be as good as last year.

Oops, I just noticed that devil smiley and realized you weren't serious about the draft date. That definitely needs to be changed. I just changed the max # of teams to 14, and changed the number of teams that make the playoffs from 4 to 6. I liked the head-to-head format from last year. I think we should probably tweak the scoring, but I can't remember what issues came up last year with the scoring. Any suggestions? What do you guys think about changing the roster format slightly? Change the starters from: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF to QB, WR, WR, Flex(WR/RB/TE), RB, RB, TE, K, DEF So instead of a third WR spot, you have a flex player that could be WR/RB/TE. It definitely changes the strategy up.

Ah, here's where we talked about future league rule changes: http://www.golfhos.com/topic-9122.90Another idea is 1 pt bonus for passing > 300yds or rushing/receiving > 100yds All these funky rules make it harder to estimate your teams points on Sunday, though.

(more like 14), adjust up/down a bit accordingly add draft of 1-2 additional defensive individual players per team points for plays over 10 yards. ?

Really, it shouldn't be much earlier though ... got to wait for last viewings of teams, see who gets hurt last week of preseason, etc.

I'm ok with those except for "points for plays over 10 yds". I don't see that as an option. I'd favor only 1 additional individual defensive player just to keep things simpler. Anyone for or against any of those suggestions?
