The last midnight show I went to was the Phantom Menace premiere, and I fell asleep during the movie.  Embarrassed

Will this be the trifecta of Brad Pitt getting screwed out of an Oscar?

OOPS, I could have sworn I posted a review yesterday.  *Seriously*

Anyways, it was very good.  It is darkly funny on it's face, and possibly even darker and ironically funny in retrospect in deeper viewing.  Of course, it's typical Tarantino --- dialogue building towards massive events that bind the plot together.   It's half spaghetti western, one fourth satire of war movies, and one fourth character drama.   It's sharp throughout, though 2 of the chapters really stand out.  Definitely his best since PF, and I would actually say I think I might like it more than PF, but I need to see it 2-3 more times really to make that assessment.

must.see.soon

Gonna be a challenge.  Wife is out of town, school starts/started depending on child, guest in the house, work at full tilt, etc.  But I'm finding a way to see this in a good theater.

Darkly funny - good to hear.  I probably watched True Romance, Reservoir Dogs, and Pulp Fiction 20-30 times each.  The others to date, not so much.  I look forward to seeing this one, though!!

I am boycotting all things "Brangelina" I hate the *fudge*ers.  Those two evil bastards who waltz around the world making out that they are saving the children make me want to puke.

Oh well, I have had my little hissy fit now and I feel much better. Cool
