so we finally caught up to date on this show via the dvr, some good stuff ...
kind of cool it's on the same night as fringe, since they at least somewhat share thematic elements

I'm still trying to work out if they're actually going get off the island.
What's the deal with the Cheerleader, why does she need to be saved?
Where's Kumar in all of this? I didn't think Harold was in the FBI?

(Although for a brief second, at the end, I thought they might show her innocently walking along and getting crushed by a falling FBI agent, but thankfully they didn't do that. )

last night's ep was pretty uneventful. I guess they explained the missing daughter being alive, but it was a bit of a letdown.

Damn, I meant to post this a few weeks ago, but forgot about it. Aflockalypsehttp://news.yahoo.com/s/y...s-role-in-large-bird-killWhen birds began mysteriously falling from the sky a couple of weeks ago, some conspiratorial minds were convinced that the government was involved. One line of speculation held that the Pentagon was conducting a secret weapons experiment that killed the birds. Another theorized that the feds were covering up the air-befouling practices of a major player in agribusiness or the energy industry. ... (more...)
Could It Be? Spooky Experiments That 'See' The Futurehttp://www.npr.org/blogs/...ments-that-see-the-futureOne of the most respected, senior and widely published professors of psychology, Daryl Bem of Cornell, has just published an article that suggests that people — ordinary people — can be altered by experiences they haven't had yet. Time, he suggests, is leaking. The Future has slipped, unannounced, into the Present. And he thinks he can prove it. ... (more...)
