Related to the eggnog discussion....
« on: December 23, 2006, 08:52:51 PM »

So the other night I decided to see how my preference in eggnog (bourbon) and Laura's (Frangelico/Rum) might work as an amalgam. Soooo... deciding that rum and bourbon might be a weird combination, I decided to go with bourbon and Frangelico.

I poured everything into a glass, stirred thoroughly, rinsed off the spoon, and took a big mouthful of my new concoction. And... I accidentally poured buttermilk, not eggnog.   Lips Sealed Disgusted Lips Sealed

Reminds me of the time I was wasted and eating mexican food at a party and my friend gives me a serrano chili pepper and before he tells me to try it out (meaning nibble on it) I had already chewed and swallowed the thing whole.  After a few seconds I was breathing fumes and there wasn't any milk, so I downed a 16 oz plastic cup full of half and half.

I think it was a serrano.  Skinny, green and 2.5 inches long.  Hottest thing I've ever had, and I consider myself a spicy food eater.

Those yellow chili peppers they have at most fast food joints, I eat those like grapes.

10,000 - 23,000 SHU.  I guess I'm no match for a Texan.

Though I've put habanero in my homemade salsa before and made my brother-in-law cry.   Grin
