lmao @ making $M's pandering thematically mistaken and conflated allusions to classic western pieces that used to be required reading in middle-high school.
After having to look up conflated; You're not seriously going with this? Crucifying her for being the latest of the 11ty gazillionth person to play some theme off of Romeo and Juliet? Did you pass over the part of the lyric that read "It's a love story.." ? romeo and juliet is a tragedy, not a love story. she calls herself the scarlet letter, to boot. terrible. That's my point. And you're missing mine. TM Aske GolfHos 2006-2010

Didn't mean to pile on the hate. She's a decent singer, but Nashville has a long history of REALLY incredible female performers. I just think it's a big step down from the years of Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Kelli Clark to Taylor Swift and that tubby that won American Idol.

Carrie? Yeah, that one. She's decent too, but she's no Terri Clark. Hell, she's not even Bobbie Gentry.

After listening to Taylor Swift at the Grammys and that performance at the CMA, I don't think she could have even won AI. BTW, who knew Gretchen Wilson had pipes like this?

No. Just that the Tenor of the thread seemed to go towards singing ability. Love , Clive.

I remember seeing that live, and being suitably impressed.
And no, it's not lip synched. Ann hasn't sounded that good in years and years.

My 10 cents worth....Stevie Nicks is still fantastic, Taylor was good, her voice does not suit that song. Their voices just didn't blend and sound that good together.

Can I bash Zac Brown yet? What a fat poser *goshdarn* turd he is. Take that hippie jam band while pandering to the perceived Nashville 'Base' and get out of my face. That run around with the acoustic and show your 'Licks' (which weren't impressive) was not working from here. Jerry Garcia and the boys never had to do anything more than stand there and PLAY, did Nashville covers, were covered BY Nashville artists, and had more of a grasp of 'Country Music' than you are ever going to have. Can you Motown, Zac? Can you Motown?
