Carl's Jr.

Had never been to one. Have read the many threads and links posted here however.
Although not endorsed by 9 out of 10 Cardiologists, It looks like my kind of eats.
Finally went. Mainly for the advertised Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger.
One word: Out*goshdarn*standing.
I ordered 2 and I believe they *fudge*ed up on one, but oddly enough I liked it. They put mustard and pickles on it. I'm a big mustard guy, but not that big on pickles. It was good.
The second was the way I believe they are supposed to be with one and a half gallons of mayonnaise. And I was in my arm drizzling cheese induced coma bliss.
Again; uber*fiddlesticks*enbelievably good.
I'll should probably limit myself to one or two a decade. But ya'll know how I feel about moderation.

The ONLY thing wrong with Carl's is that:
It's a little spendy, and the nearest one is wayout in Maple Valley somedamn where!

I can see the distance thing. The GCBB was 2.49 which I normally wouldn't pay for one burger, but I will say it was worth the money. Not just good, but size/quantity etc. I was fine with two of those for 5 bones. They also (at least at the one I was at ) have dollar choices like a spicy chicken sandwich and ranch bacon cheeseburger. Which I also ate.

Dude, at least limit yourself to one at a time if not one per decade.

So I took my car in to the dealership for an airbag recall and I've got two hours to kill. The good news is that there's an carl's jr across the street! The bad news is I don't think they're serving lunch yet.

Ok sitting in carls jr now. Just finished a grilled cheese burger.
I went with the double version. I thought it was great at first, but by the end of the sandwich the cheese overwhelmed me. I have this same problem with the Jack in the box ultimate bacon cheeseburger. I think four slices of cheese causes too much of a taste imbalance even with two beef patties.
No pickles or mustard on mine but plenty of mayo which surprised me even though you warned me.
Here's what my layer breakdown looked like:
[grilled bun] [mayo] [yellow cheese] [white cheese] [bacon] [patty #1] [patty #2] [white cheese] [yellow cheese] [grilled bun]
so l liked the bun but I'm not sure i like it better than my usual double western burger with the onion rings under the patties.(although I find the BBQ sauce too sweet)
hmm still an hour to kill so might get a haircut, but that will involve walking by a cheesesteak shop, French dip sandwich joint and a popeyes. I don't like my chances.

I'm not sure what I'm more concerned about: - that you're actually writing a review about a burger, or that you're actually able to conect to a wifi network in a burger joint??

Actually, I was using a slow phone network for that post in Carl's Jr. But wifi came into play derailing my other plans....(continued)

LMAO! So I was all set to to see if I could get past those places like some sort of Ulysses navigating through Sirens, Scylla and Charybdis. But I had to walk by the dealership first and popped into the customer lounge to grab some free coffee and use their wifi. Then I noticed people were watching Jessie Ventura on The View, which was really bizarre and hard to describe. By the time I finished my coffee, my car was ready, so no haircut today.
