Stick it to the *goshdarn* man!
I would be pizzizzled.
"You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order! They're out of order!"
Yup, rolled up behind me on their little city issued mountain bikes, read me the riot act about 'Safety' and watching out, etc, etc, wrote me a ticket and told me to walk home.
'Skateboarding is not allowed in the city limits except on private property or authorized areas'.
You ride a bicycle to work, you're a *goshdarn* a hero, you push a skate ( and I have it set up where I don't have to push overly much) and you're a criminal.
They brought the incident in Renton up, and I did point out that it was some *bunghole* on a bike that ran the lady over. 'Well, we're going to a zero tolerance policy on the trails'. Really? I don't see your radar guns for speed enforcement, and I didn't see you checking the crosswalks to make sure Messr's Armstrong and Contador dismount when crossing.
And yes, they need to be in court. Just for the PITA factor.
And it was a LOVELY afternoon for it. It's mostly flat, and the trail comes out a couple of blocks from work. I do it a couple of times a month: Take the bus to work, push back.
And I'll be doing it again, sans helmet and all.
