I'm at the Google I/O conference right now. They already gave us free droids. (I already had 2 droids before that) They just announced they're giving all attendees the sweet Sprint HTC EVO 4G phone too. EVO 4G!

Lots of cool stuff shown earlier.
stuff in Froyo (next Android release) - flash - tethering and portable hotspot built into OS - automatic updating of apps. - web version of Android Market
Stuff beyond Froyo - install app through Android Market in browser, gets automatically pushed to phone over internet, no need for tethering like iTunes. - share/stream your music library from your computer to phone.

What about a freaking built-in video player (i.e. for playing your own MP4 for FLV files--not just streamed YouTube videos)?

Nice. Google TV going to be open sourced.
They demoed a neat Android app on Google TV grabbing the close captioning and sending it to google translate and getting translated closed captioning.

Actually, I've seen a lot of iPads around. And a huge number of devs here use macbooks. As for me, (during the conference) I'm packing a Nexus One and Droid in the pant pockets and the iPhone is in the backpack. (for impromptu demos)
