Last night of league tonight. Closest to MFAWG's actual 9 hole score on the front side here gets a sleeve of balls: http://www.fostergolflink...asp?id=305&page=10839My low score that side is a 38, my highest somewhat more, LMAO! It's going to be muddy, and there is a distinct possibility that the last 2 holes could be full on dark...

Love you, but I'm not paying up on 1 guess. I'm assuming it's par 34 and not par 35, right? NTTAWWT
And yes, I do need to play on a 'Real Golf Course'. But it's across the street, and this league is sponsored by: http://www.georgetownbeer.com/products/index.html

Price is Right rules? If so, 34. If not, 41.

You're both a little under. I shot 43 or 45. Seems we had a little rules kerfuffle.
First hole I lose my drive a little left, and it ends up 6 inches from the cart path, ie I'll have to stand on the pavement to hit. So I mark, take complete relief for my stance, mark again, and drop a club length DIAGONALLY away from the hole. This puts me in the fairway and also gives me a slightly better angle to the green. I hit 3 wood to the left edge of the green, and got up and down for a 4.
Except that the guy keeping score INSISTS it's a 6 because of my 'Improper Drop'. His reasoning is that since my ball wasn't in the fairway, I should have dropped either on the other side of the cart path or straight out to keep it in the rough, due to the way the fairway is cut.
The *goshdarn* rules, how do they work?
I will admit to this: I dropped diagonally specifically to get to the fairway. I'll say it was less than 60 degrees, but more than 45. Since it was well within the clublength, I think I'm good to go.
So, was it a 4 or a 6?

^^Post over in E&R. You'll get the definitive answer. Do we have E&R? No, but with a little work, we might be able to get this moved over to the "Classic Threads" forum.

GIS for 'Eating and Rooting' turned this up.... I'm tipping this was one of the more appropriate images that was returned?

I'm tipping this was one of the more appropriate images that was returned? Most of them had to do with breastfeeding. ^^Post over in E&R. You'll get the definitive answer. Do we have E&R? We don't. Imayhave screwed up up on establishing the NPR.
