what about mashed potatoe? Well, I usually eat more than one (somewhere between 2-4), so make that plural "mashed potatoes". That's just a light meal, mind you. But not in the car. If we eat in the car, which is rare, it's on-the-go type foods (non-crumbly, non-messy, no need for a plate stuff).

I don't eat in the car, but I do like to keep a french fry under the seat. It's an American tradition, like apple pie and so forth.
Haha.

No fries, but enough money to buy some. Some tees and a few golf balls as well.
Yep, have some of them in ours too.

French fry trivia...
Everyone who has ever had a child in a ski lesson can't hear the words "french fries" without immediately thinking "pizza".
When I first arrived in the States my entry interview was with an INS officer in Blaine, Washington. He told me that his son wanted to be a french fry when he grew up. As I haven't heard otherwise I have to assume he made it.
You can't substitute the words "french fries" in to the phrase "fish and chips" without sounding like a complete doofus.
29.3% of all American restaurants which serve steak/house fries do not have malt vinegar available. Bastages.
McDonalds is responsible for 1/5 of all known evil but their fries are da bomb.

I really like tose thick fat "steak fries". Good and crispy on the outside, and dip in a big old pile of mayo.
