God, I'm so sorry!
I take it your parents are of the type that sent you to a New England boarding school and thence to a private learning institution of your choice?
I only say this because MOST of your posts don't contain the grammar and spelling errors one would expect of a Georgia native.
They also lack the faint odor of expectorated Red Man.
Just sayin'...

I'm the adopted son down here. Considering I'm a suburbanite, though, Blader's Atlanta may not claim me. Yet.

Blader, Would absolutely love to and appreciate the invite, though am heading to Vegas for a business trip that weekend. It's for the better, for you two, trust me. I ran into health challenges last year - ended up w/ a rare disorder called Addison's Disease. My body is still getting used to the meds and physical stress. Tried playing a round over the summer in Hilton Head. I think I made it 11 holes before my body said no mas. Even on a good day, I suck at golf. Thx! Chad

I looked up Addison's Disease on Wikipedia, and there may be a case for which Brent Musberger is right: http://www.golfhos.com/topic-14542.html

Yup, I am now a daily steroid user - low dose oral glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid. I kinda like steroids; without them I don't live.
Thanks for the concern, Blader. Had actually had the disease for 3-4 years without knowing it (self medication - caffeine and energy drinks - masking symptoms until I was advanced and in Adisonian crisis). Was still misdiagnosed for 3+ months - my PCP thought I had mono.
Ended up getting the dermatologist to order additional blood work (my skin had gotten very dark and I had 100s of tiny moles pop up all over my body - those few who saw me thought I had been in the Caribbean a couple of years). Lost 45 lbs. in 3+ months. Got admitted to the ER the day after the tests as they feared I was going into adrenal failure.
It's all good now. Just fine-tuning some meds here and there.
Throw back a few and enjoy your time w/ Supperman!!

I was going to suggest looking up Addison's in Wikipedia, though figured curious minds would go there.

A lot throughout the process was shocking. Very first symptoms were over Thanksgiving - suddenly couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without losing my breath. Every time I stood, I almost passed out. Physician father wanted me to the dr. asap as symptoms could represent heart issues, pulmonary embolism, or a litany of other things. Within a couple of weeks, I became so weak I couldn't stand for more than 15 seconds without gasping for breath. I'd pause with my hands in my lap to gain strength to complete an email. I'd stop 3 times and sit before making it up the stairs. Showers took 90 minutes - sitting the whole time - pausing between areas to get the strength for the next one. When my skin was darkest, I once again questioned the doc's diagnosis (having suggested the Addison's deal 3 times previously, simply due to symptomatic inquiries I made on-line). She told me it was my liver, again associating it back to mono. I told her I wasn't yellow, that I looked like a *goshdarn* umpa lumpa. Never realized how serious I was until the dermatologist involved the endo, got to the ER, and then visited with him after the fact. Upon hearing the full explanation from the endo and educating myself more fully on the disease, I felt pretty fortunate to be here, as did my wife and kids. I probably should have complained more, but not my style. later, chad
