If any of the women in your life is not getting regular mammograms, get it going now.

Wife had her yearly mammogram this past June.  A spot was found.  Surgery has taken place and radiation therapy begins within the next 2 weeks.  It has been a stressful 4 months, but the outcome is going to be good.

Surgeons and radiology oncologist agree that the good outcome is due to the early detection of this 3 mm cancerous tumor.  This was not a tumor that could be felt by self exam or by Doctor manual exam even after the mammogram found it.
