Melbourne, Australia  Hey!!! Do you know wishicouldhit? She's from Australia too. Don't know her personally, but she lives up at the 'pointy' end of Australia. It's a nice area up there.... lots of great beaches, golf courses, and National Parks. It's pretty much a tropical region. The only thing is all that sun and warm weather sometimes seems to have melted their brains.... Watch it Twoiron!!! The sun might melt our brains, but we just can't seem to stop the influx of bl**dy victorians coming to our beautiful state and town where I live!!!  |

We have a running public bond account with money designated to buying them there foothills to keep them free of development. I believe when it was being pushed we actually said something about avoiding the fate of SLC and Denver. |

Our initiative has something to do with waiting for the Wasatch Fault to cut loose whereupon everything on the foothills will be in the City Creek watershed. It's a bit iffy for a master plan but it keeps taxes low. |

Fuzz - when did you live in Rochester? I lived there '80-'92. Small world. During that era I lived NE on East River Road south of 37th street, west of N. Broadway. I lived on 9th Street near what was Northrop elementary school from 1968-1978. I graduated from JM in the spring of '83, went to UW-Madison and lived in WI until 1991 (with some time in NY). Moved to Mpls area after that. |

Born and raised in the small town of Mott, ND; the county is the pheasant capitol of NoDak, if not the US. Lived there 'till just before my 21st birthday April 82. Then I joined the U.S.A.F and spent 6 weeks in basic training at Lackland, AFB (San Antonio, TX), 33 weeks of training at Keesler AFB (Biloxi, MS), Jan 83 - July 84 at Offutt, AFB (Omaha, NE), Aug 84 - Jul 85 at Osan AB, South Korea; Aug 85 - Apr 86 at Key West, NAS. Supported spy missions where we gathered intelligence on our enemies. Back to NoDak. May 86 - Nov 87 for one year of JuCo. Moved to Phoenix for college and graduated in June 89. Went to Somalia for a year and Egypt for a year July 89 - Aug 91 doing oil exploration work. Back to NoDak I went. Then in Oct 92 - May 93 went to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a rain enhancement project. Came back to NoDak and lived there 'till 99 when I moved to the Minneapolis area where I work for the AP. Currently living in Fridley, MN
