I think the "Ask Torpedo" thread was a smashing success! Great Idea Clive. I'm on the podium next. Fire away.

Where do you stand on the war in Iraq, abortion, the death penalty and silent "h"s?

I'm against "cut-n-run", however, I feel we need to strengthen diplomatic relations, and "negotiate" our way out immediately. If you're looking for something deeper than that, I can call spacey, and have him tell me what to say. Abortions make Baby Jesus cry (unless necessary in certain circumstances) If you know me at all, then this thread would be useless. I have made my position very clear on the silent h. I have trouble enough with the ones that are supposed to be sounded. That's all I'm going to go into it at this time. Next question.

How long have you been a Vikings fan? Most of my life. Since I was in elementary anyway. My stepmother is from MN. I grew up in Florida, and Jacksonville had no NFL team. Your choice was Miami , or Tampa Bay. If you knew T.B. in the seventies, well, ........ The other popular choice in that day was the Steelers(but AFC? please.) of the Cowboys. I went with the Queens, and bled purple ever since. Moved up here in '80 and became an official fan. (well less weird looks anyway.)

I like this idea of getting to know the 'ho's among us. 1. If you were reincarnated, what would you come back as? 2. If you could choose one super power, what would it be? 3. Which cartoon character do you consider the ****iest? 4. If you were a stripper, what would your stage name be?

Michelob Golden Draft Light. But I will drink any beer. I am partial to American cheap swill, however.

I have a profound fear of death, so I think if I could choose, I would choose to be me again. Hard call. Does omnipotence count? Q was my hero. Other than that, flying. Who's your all-time favorite player? Randy Moss. I will always remember '98. What a rookie season. I never payed attention to any of his antics. I viewed him only as a player.

Dangit! I knew I missed one. Sorry deuce. LOL I agree. In seriousness, I think the concept is good. Like Fuzzy said, good way to get to know each other. We are a pretty small community here, and I have made some really good friends.

I am partial to American cheap swill, however. Me too. Any time you have to get intellectual about your beer is a buzzkill. Just made a crazy assumption based on your name. Ted
