Who's Always Hiding?
« on: January 17, 2007, 08:39:23 PM » |

Every time I look at the main page, I see : Users, lurkers, spiders, and 1, or 2 members hiding.
What's that about?

If a member looks at the site without logging in does that constitute "hiding?" I sometimes drop by to see if there are any new messages of interest. Sometimes I don't log in if I don't see anything I want to reply to.

No, then you would be counted as a lurker I believe.

No, then you would be counted as a lurker I believe. Yep. I wonder if there isn't something in profile "settings" that does: hide online status from others. Or something like that. The hider, may not even know that he/she is hiding.

The hider, may not even know that he/she is hiding. I just found it. It is a check box in your account settings. I just hid. It was dark and scary so I came back out.
