What do you typically wear to work?
« on: January 30, 2007, 12:31:32 PM » |

Teed posted a poll about drycleaning shirts for work a while ago, which seemed to suggest that many of you dress pretty well at work.
I was wondering what most people here wear to work? Ties? dress slacks? full suit? Is there a casual Friday at your workplace?

A uniform during the week, and on Fridays, we have a nice polo shirt that we wear!

Shorts, tennies, t-shirts or golf shirts for eight months of the year. Jeans, tennies, sweatshirts or super casual sweaters for the other four.
But I dress down for church.

depends on whether there are any meetings/presentations on tap for the day
if so, then (depending on how nice/important they are).. dress shirt+tie and niceslacks or khakis and semi-dress shirt
on a non-event day tshirt/sweatshirt+shorts/jeans or whatever weather dictates

Black scrubs.
That's cool. Do you get to pick your own color? Or is there some sort of color scheme for each dept. like in Star Trek:TNG? Command & Navigation--Wine RED. Medical Corps & Science--NAVY BLUE. Security & Engineering--MUSTARD YELLOW.

Here it's just Navy blue or black.

M-H: dress pants or nicer chinos; dress shirt (light starch, cuffs buttoned), dress shoes. No tie!
F: nicer chinos; dress shirt (light starch, sleeves cuffed) or nicer golf shirt, dress shoes.
Yeah, I'm digging the whole "dress a level up" thing.

M-TH: khakis, nice shirt/sweater or polo in summer, no tie F: jeans, clean sneakers, same type shirts
Basically "nice" casual. Unless we have a customer in or I'm traveling. Then it's suit and tie 90% of the time.
