It's funny how guys dress in general, there are some guys where you can almost pinpoint the year when they decided to stop caring and just stick with a look and go with it and damn what everyone thinks. 1982? Those clothes have a lot of wear left in them. [ rubs two nickles together with miserly peak over shoulder to make sure nobody is watching ]

Not to derail the stream of suggestions and insults, but ...
My interest is only partly borne of vanity. For those select few of you who've gone out on the town with a truly and societally-adjudged Beautiful Woman on your arm, you cannot deny that there was a certain sense of pride in being seen with that trophy. It validates us as men that we can go out and bag the big game, if you will.
Well, my wife wants to recapture that with me. I told her it'd take far more than clothes. She said we should just do what we can do.

Ah.
Let's not just get you up to date, but slightly ahead of the curve.
Got to one of the places mentioned above. Head to the back of the store, and wait for one of the employees to help. Try for a female, but one with the swagger of spaceage will do.
Speak quietly, they don't want a madhouse in the store.
Ask her for "parachute pants". Don't worry, shell know. They most likely have them in the back, and seldom on display. Try to 2 pair.
If she offers to match you with a shirt, tell her no. It's a trick.
later that night, as you and the honey trophy head out for a platter of bean dip, and split a dollar draft, everyone will know; You got it goin on!

FWIW, I used to run (a lot) and have monkey arms, making me just different enough from "standard" sizing that it behooves me to try before I buy.
So it WAS you I saw the other day...

So it WAS you I saw the other day... Well, that does kind of resemble me, except my nipples don't sag quite that much. Maybe with some effort, though ...

I know my wife's solution was to find a younger guy. I don't care. I have broadband at home.

I hate to buy clothes. That being said, when I break down, itis always during some mega sale, usually at Macy's. I just scored a 95.00 pair of RL khakis for 5.00! I frequent Marshall's, Ross, TJ Maxx. With enough perserverance I can usually get nice name brand stuff for at least 50% or more off retail.
If I positively have to have something nice, Nordstrom's.

My wardrobe is very simple. I have been retired for 8 years. During the day I either were jeans or shorts with either a pocket tee or a golf type shirt or sweatshirt. I have one suit I wear for funerals or weddings. So, what little I need I get from Sears, Walmart or Penneys. Oh, yeah, I wear swim trunks and tank tops most of the summer since I usually spend 3 or 4 days on my houseboat which I get from Walmart also.

How'd you fit the houseboat in one of those carts at Walmart or did you order it online?
