Give Stroh The Shaft!
« on: February 10, 2007, 11:29:04 AM » |
|
Mr. Stroh has come into the possession of certain wedge heads, which same are to be shafted up and sent in transit to him. The question: what shaft(s) to install in the heads?
Our man Stroh hasn't yet provided details on his swing, his current iron shafts, his current wedges, and his likes/dislikes with any of the above. With or without that information, let's start suggestin'. Bores are parallel.
I'm thinking under-trimmed TT Lite XLs, but I'm boring.

I've seen one picture of his swing in action and based solely on that burned image in my mind, whatever shafts you put in they better be extra stiff.
And can you add some sort of a keg & tap/cigarette lighter function?

I've got some TT Lite XL's with pre-beer-soaked Players Sofftie grips I'll give him if he wants them.

Something teal in color. How about Viking purple? I actually thought of purple. But that's what mine are. For that matter, that's what my whole bag is.

You guys are great! I feel so loved. (not the TFT, spaceage way) Clive, I knew you wanted to pull and keep the rifle 5.5, and just throw anything in there. More than fine with me. I don't believe shaft flex has one *feces* of an ioda to do with anything, but thats blasphemy for another thread. I would say, anything you got around the bench is fine with me. Standard length. After the interest sparked in the thread, and for sport, I will let the jury decide. My only evidence: My swing. 8 iron. http://s45.photobucket.co...mp;current=Picture659.flv

TT Tour Concept and Accra Tour Steel make awesome wedge shafts. Neither are available to Stroh so that's the main reason I recommend them.
