2007: the year of eeeran
« on: February 13, 2007, 07:07:35 AM »

Quote
Some senior administration officials still relish the notion of a direct confrontation. One ambassador in Washington said he was taken aback when John Hannah, Vice President Cheney's national security adviser, said during a recent meeting that the administration considers 2007 "the year of Iran" and indicated that a U.S. attack was a real possibility. Hannah declined to be interviewed for this article.

Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.

The problem , of course, is that we would have to invade Eeeeeran with boy scouts and rented Kia Sportages mounted with surplus Soviet Bloc heavy machine guns...

We don't even have the troops to pull 'The Surge' off...

we also, apparently, don't have "leaders" willing to recognize this

You're jacking your own thread with a guy who say's there's no 'Winning' in Iraq given current US policy.

The plain truth is we already 'Won', now it's time to 'Leave'.

Aske, I take it all back:

Now that The Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff has said that there is no proof that The Gubment of Iran is involved in making weapons for Iraqi insurgents, I'm pretty sure that Bucshco will insist that they are and fire Gen. Pace.

The invasion will commence on Thurday, March 1st...

More appropriately, April 1.
