Women "germ-ier" than men
« on: February 16, 2007, 04:28:39 PM » |

Just saying. http://www.startribune.com/535/story/1007680.htmlWomen's offices had three to four times more bacteria, mold and yeast than men's, in the 113 offices tested recently by environmental microbiology professor Charles Gerba at the University of Arizona in Tucson. It was almost a rout: Women had more germs on their telephone, computer keyboard, mouse and pens. Men outdid them only on desk tops.
The women also had a whopping seven times as much mold around their desk drawers.
Dirty girls..

That's interesting. Why are women so dirty?
They are twice as likely to keep food in their drawers, Gerba said, and they tend to store things like salads and dried fruit, compared to men's candy bars.
Also, women are still more likely to care for sick family members, and then carry that contagion into work with them.
Men can claim the single dirtiest item in the office, though: their wallets.
"That's probably because men are sitting on them all day, keeping them warm," Gerba said.

Dirty girls.. Is it just me, or do the words women, mold, and drawers make you throw up just a little?

Maybe the women spent 3 to 4 times as much time in their offices?
