KFC Appeals to Higher Authority by Asking for Papal Blessing for New KFC(R) Fish Snacker Sandwich http://biz.yahoo.com/prne.../070221/cgw013.html?.v=87KFC's new Fish Snacker Sandwich, a tender, flaky filet of 100 percent Alaskan Pollack topped with tangy tartar sauce and served on a warm sesame bun, extends KFC's popular Snacker line-up and is ideal for American Catholics who want to observe Lenten season traditions while still leading their busy, modern lifestyles.
The company has turned to Pope Benedict XVI, beseeching him to bestow his Papal blessing for this innovative new menu item.

Let me get this straight...one big corporation is asking another big corporation for its blessing? What's up with that?

The Col wouldn't recognize his company now....
My grandmother grew up in Corbin Kentucky and according to her Harlan Sanders is a terrible human being; that he stole his "original recipe" from an old woman who had been selling chicken out of her home for years, and subsequently sued her for using her own recipe, driving her into bankruptcy. (I can not verify the veracity of these claims, could be grandma's just an old kook.)

(..., could be grandma's just an old cook.) Didya mean to say "kook"? 'Cause in the context, being an old "cook" could also potentially be germane to the discussion.....
