I've got a 68 sitting in the garage.  It is great for getting over trees and bunkers when you've shortsided yourself badly.  Sometimes, you can't open a 60 enough.  My 60 has 6 degrees of bounce, the 64 has 4, and the 68-0.

For the most part these wedges are useless for the average golfer.  You must have distance to spare in order to place one of these in the bag.

The last round I played, I had Driver, 5 and 7 woods.  2 iron, 6-PW, 56, 60,64,68 wedges, and of course a putter.

The 2 iron replace the 4 iron as my get out of jail club.  Threading through trees, keeping it under branches, and the longer fairway bunker shots that required a low flight for maximum run out.

I'm not saying I've got distance to spare anymore though.  Used to. Cry

Edit:  I would get the 73 if it weren't so damned expensive.

Soon to be your local trash man.

I don't play golf anymore.   Well, maybe I do sort of.  I quit keeping score, started drinkning beer and I started playing better.

I have a 66* that I fiddle around with and infrequently take to the course.  They are NOT about distance, they're about height and soft landings.  Great for use when you've short-sided yourself, the green slopes away, the lie is crap and you need a fuller swing, or the greenside bunker has an extra-steep face/lip.
