7 week layoff for the last 4 shows...... Words can't express my aggravation over mid-season hiatuses. it will make the climax all the better though so peter obviously survives. hero and ando obviously go back to present day. ted sprague somehow meets peter. mr bennet needs somehow to take down primatech from inside. etc... and that should just be the next episode

Just what does Petrellis' mother know and when did she know it?

Oh, and how about Malcom McDowell as Linderman? Absolutely not what I expected on that one.

Whew! It just ended here a little while ago. I've been trying to avoid the Net all day so I wouldn't see any spoilers. So Mother Petrelli is deeply involved. I didn't see that coming. I get the feeling she's known a lot for a long time and is behind quite a bit, based on her relationship with the Haitian. I'm guessing that in the last episode when the Haitian was talking to Bennett about following orders to protect Claire, he was referring to Grandma Petrelli. I'm not sure about Malcom McDowell, not quite what I was picturing for Linderman, but I don't know why. I guess I was kind expecting someone more sinister that likes to sit in a dark office (like the owner of the Knights in The Natural). Or maybe someone like Kingpin from Daredevil (the comic, haven't seen the movie) But they seemed to be trying to surprise us with Linderman by having him first show up making potpies in the hotel kitchen.

I'm tired of every dumbass catching Sylar then being all "*fudge* me, I'm surprised! Wasn't expecting that." when he escapes and eats their gerbils.
Bennet falling for the shapeshifter antics was almost as stupid. He's only been in that business a couple of decades....
Don't any of these people watch X-men?

7 week layoff for the last 4 shows...... Words can't express my aggravation over mid-season hiatuses. Ditto! My mouth hit the counter when they said they are returning 6 weeks from now! Gawd, that pisses me off. They will lose views if they (Heroes, Lost, et al) keep pulling that *feces*. Cliffhangers are one thing, this is bull*feces*!

From what I understand the hiatuses are mandate by the network, the show and the producers have nothing to do with them. I can't imagine why the networks feel it's a good idea (unless it has something to do with prior scheduling obligations but it doesn't seem that's the case with either Heroes or Lost), but I have no doubt it revolves around money somehow. On the plus side, I read somewhere (probably in a link posted here) that the producers of Heroes negotiated into the show's contract that the schedule would remain intact, meaning no "See Heroes on it's new night and new time" BS. So they've got that going for them.
