I'm finally back online at home
« on: March 08, 2007, 10:53:10 AM »

Many of you remember that I moved into our new house Nov 06.  Well to date, high speed internet access (cable or dsl)  is still unavailable on my street.  Over the past four months I've been posting from either a Sprint Air Card and my laptop, at work, or from my BlackBerry (very painful).

Well "the google" provided me w/ the info to use my BlackBerry as a modem for my home pc.   Speed is not bad, 115.2Kbps.   So far it hasn't dropped and best of all it's free.

Heres the info if anyone is interested.

lol, yes.  I'm almost wishing I had a blackberry to connect through.  BTW, my current connection is 46.6 Kbps.  Not all that bad for dial-up really, but definitely not spectacular compared to dsl/cable/etc.

The good thing about getting old, is that you can hit the ball out of sight.
