AC/DC
« on: March 10, 2007, 08:11:03 PM »

Used to love AC/DC when I was in my early teens...Back in Black album is playing as I type, and I am questioning my ears, as I don't really dig it now.  Too old, too loud?...No, just does not click anymore.

Ignoring the french press comment I made, I liked the Depeche Mode that was playing before it. Hopefully TIAWWT

AC/DC has played the exact same *goshdarn* song for the better part of 30 years. Then again, so has Depeche Mode, only maybe not for quite as long. I'm not really a fan of either. But what do I know, I like Iron Maiden.

Still love AC/DC.  Power chord rock at its finest.  Those guys write songs that grab you at the primal core.

Second concert ever was For Those About To Rock.  As my first was Spirits Having Flown it definitely woke me up.  LOL.   Headbang

First concert I went to was Ozzy, "Diary of a Mad Man".  2nd was "For Those About to Rock"  and I remember Angus coming out and banging a big bell on stage...still the best concert I attended...but the music now, just does not do it for me?

(I may be wrong about the Ozzy tour, but I am pretty sure it was Diary and not Crazy Train.)

I still like them.  Back in Black is good but I also like a lot of their older stuff with Bon Scott as lead singer.
