Bearded Look?

I know there has been countless threads/polls on how you shave it off. Anyone here grow it? (save of course, or contingent of the fairer ****, and Aske, obviously. Who I hear is looking for a stylist to bead and braid ala Ventura)
Facial hair guys? Beard? Mustache? Goatee?
I have let mine go the last week or so. If I tilt my head the right way, and you catch the sunlight right; You can see I may be old enough to drive. Or at least drink liquor in Wisconsin. Oh, yeah, I'm the Brawny paper towel dude.
Ya'll?

I just shaved off the lumberjack beard (Laura really, really hates it when I let it get like that) and am now sporting a goatee with big angular triangle shaped lambchop sideburns. (I'm seeing how far I can push it until she lets me go back to shaving my head.)

i have my goatee @ about 4-5 " right now. with the job, conferences, photoshoots, etc.... it's hard to get away with it longer than that. between haircuts I let the 'side' of the beard grow in. (every 2-3 weeks). i figure if* (who knows for certain) it kept growing since march 2003 (when i routinely started growing goatee out) and I hadn't trimmed it, it would be 20" by now

Mustaches are tough to wear well. You end up looking like a pröñ stud wannabe. Which most guys might well be, but the look is still kinda pathetic.
I did the goatee thing a while back, but my wife said I looked "too evil" with it. Apparently, there is an appropriately evil appearance for me. I just haven't found it yet. Anyhoo, when I had it, I was able to shape it OK just using the twin-blade that I shaved with. You can also buy small trimmers for cheap at most drugstores. Frankly, I'd be surprised if you didn't already own trimmers, given the DIY haircut look from your swing video.

Mustache since I was 19 or so, and an occasional beard.
Unfortunately, I've reached the point where the beard makes me look outright 'Portly', and it also tends to come in very gray and add a few years.
The BIG problem with the beard for me was keeping it trimmed, which was at least as much of a hassle as shaving is.
I just hack the unruly parts of the 'stache off every couple of weeks with a pair of scissors, and call it good.

I'm clean-shaven these days. I do miss the goatee, though. Back when I had a goatee and a topknot and was bulked up, people would leave me alone and never bother me. That was during my "angry young man" phase. Now that I'm in my "slightly agitated not-so-young man" phase, cleancut, and pudgy, I look a lot more approachable and people now bug me and try to talk to me (for directions, in the supermarket, etc.).

Goatee right now. Have been clean most of my life due to job requirements. Had a full beard one year but soon to be wife at the time said shave it before the wedding. The nerve. I keep the goatee pretty neat and trim, trim it at least once a week, and trim it short. It does show that I am getting old as most of the chin is gray, upper lip is almost all brown.

Currently sporting a triangular soul patch with side burns. Also, my hair is longer than it has been in over a decade. Can anyone say "middle-aged crisis"?
