Probably my yearly experiment with trying to high altitude adjust my soda bread recipe for tomorrow's festivities.

Gotta write down the solution one of these days.   Anonymous

No, but I was shocked to see all the empty storefronts. It's been a while since I've been there I guess, but the place is a *goshdarn* ghost town.

I left around 7:00 pm to run over to the local club to see when they are opening the course (sign says tomorrow  Cheesy) and grabbed a burger on the way home.  The wife and daughter had home-made burritos.

picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway.  Ate it with tabasco, rice, green beans, and Pete's Wicked Ale.

Took the family out to the Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my daughter being 'inducted' into her school's math "Hall of Fame". MIL in tow. Pretty good Alaskan Amber and pulled pork sandwich. The only drawback was it was really busy so we had to wait (hate that). On the plus side, while we were eating my wife remembered she had an old gift card for the place that still had $20 on it.

Oops It just hit me.  They just opened one of those here.  I'll have to check it out.

Although to be honest, I'm not a barbque fan.

It falls way below good Italian, and lands just above Vegemite.
