Years ago my wife and I spent a couple of days in SLC and I remember some of  the liquor laws were pretty weird.  It was a long time ago so I don't recall exactly, but there was something about buying your bottle outside the restaurant and bringing it into the restaurant in a paper bag.

Wow, it's been a while. Brown bag laws have been dead for quite a long time. In fact,  you can no longer purchase a mini-bottle in Utah.

I remember those days though.  Crazy stuff.  People walking into posh restaurants in evening wear carrying a bottle in a bag like a wino.  Too funny.
