Memo to Sizzler

Jeff Spicoli was 25 years ago and the stereotype has been played out for the better part of two decades. Not to mention you've got this 16 year old blending pseudo-slang and pig latin (pig *goshdarn* latin? seriously?) for which his friends would probably kick his ass if he were caught uttering in real life. How completely out of touch are your marketing execs? Seriously. Worst commercial evar.
(Sorry if none of this makes sense to anyone else, it's possible that it's just a local commercial. Needed to vent.)

Heh, I haven't been to a Sizzler in over 10 years. I don't really have good memories of them. But, strangely, I do have fond memories of going to Ponderosas and Bonanzas with my parents as a kid.

No Sizzlers here (or Bonanzas for matter). We still have Ponderosa.

We had all of those growing up. Plus Golden Corral. In those days it was just like the others; now it's more of a buffet type place.
Don't go to any of them now. As per Spacey in a recent thread, if I want a steak I can have a prime cut from a good butcher cheaper than I can eat at Sizzler, et. al. If I go out for a steak then it's Outback at a minimum and usually one of two local restaurants that do it right.
