Back to the OP, it seems you are "taking you work home with you". I have read several articles in Good Housekeeping, and Ladies Home Journal, that strictly advise against it. I'm no Dr. Oprah, but I would say: "Mr. carburetor, your stealing my me time!"
Trust me, it's an entirely different dynamic when it's your own car. Besides, I don't really work on them much any more.
It is nice that I was able to pull it off the car while I was at work. Kind of slow yesterday, which is how this started. I was just going to replace the choke pull off, figured out that the choke linkage was bent and then it just snowballed.
FWIW, this Rochester is junk, which means I'm shopping for a Holly. Heres a little known factoid: All V8 Omega's from this year have a 4 barrel manifold, even if the car was equipped with a 2 barrel, which is why the Dualjet looks just like a Quadrajet without the secondary's.
You should take this months Cosmo. quiz. It's a ****ual fulfillment compatibility assessment, but I think if you just replace erogenous zone, on # 7 with butterfly valve; and post coital cuddling, with 7 mm open ended wrench, on # 13, you should find the answers you need.
YMMV
No metric anything on this one...
