That was soooooooooo much fun...playin' again, you don't know how much you miss something until it's taken away from you. It actually went better than I imagined, except for the fact that I must have cold topped at least 20 shots I went out in 53 (prolly about 8 over for me), but coming home felt so much better, the golf course we played doesn't have a practice facility so you go out pretty cold, factor in a beautiful Western Washington drizzle off and on for the first 10 or so holes I came home in 44 for a 97 (meh 7 over my avg.) I'll take it. The new driver was awesome, I was actually hitting draws, it took me 13 holes to start aligning myself farther right. Brother MFAWG has a really nice swing, and hit quite a few good shots. I know he scored a lot better n' me, he had to beat me by at least 10, and if he did, that's purty good shootin' in the weather we had to fight. I feel alive again, this is going to be the spring of Gregg.

My schedule is pretty open, bud. If you have something already, let's rock. O/W email me with what works, and whether you want to plan something, or have me do it. I'm ready.

It was a good time, weather and all. I think it rained most of the front nine, but as fellow PacNWer Seamus pointed out, it was a pretty light rain and it was fairly warm so that natives hardly noticed. Heck, some years that would be August.
I was able to put my 'Total Golf Method' (a registered trademark of MFAWG, Inc) on display on the first hole: Slice drive into right rough ( a massive 3w shot of 160 yards or so), cold shank recovery through adjoining fairway, pull the resulting shot into a tree, leaving myself a low punch shot of 100 yards, which I managed to pull of by closing my eyes and repeating under my breath this well known mantra:
'Please God, just this once, then I'll quit, I promise'
Fortunately, I settled down after that and only made double 3 more times on the front.
Alas, no post round libations, as Auburn appears to be undergoing some renovations and the 'Grill' consists of an old 2 window taco truck or carnival food trailer of some kind and some plastic lawn furniture under a bedraggled 'Tent' that looks strangely like the one that I watched a (very) drunk Steve Kinser drive through on a 4 wheeler with 2 wet T shirt contestants on the back at Gold Cup a few years ago. The bikini girls were unscathed, Kinser had a shiner and avoided arrest, but I gave the tent up for a loss. Good to see the City Of Auburn knows good equipment when it sees it, and spares no expense.
Greg, I hope we can do it again sometime.
Maybe Sumner?

My camera phone was in it's proper place: The glove box of The Redneckmobile, and Seamus didn't have one either.
I guess I could have gone to the truck and got mine, but since the parking lot was closed and I had to park way the *fudge* across and down the road, it wasn't worth the hassle.
I'm thinking Sumner Meadows next Tuesday (I'm not a 'Man Of Leisure, and I hope to have a crushing hangover Sunday, so Tuesday is my next day off) if Seamus is in.
We'll rectify the oversight then.
10ish work?
