I picked Mashed taters, and green beans. I like the other choices as well, but all told, I would most likely drink a few more beers, and say "Nah, thanks, I'm good. I, uh...had a big lunch."

Mashed potatoes = yummy, yummy!
Either with corn or with green beens (but only if the green beens are raw).

What about heated, but still crunchy green beans? (that's how I like them ) Indeed! Not to T/J too much, but Karen made some last night. Garlic, and olive oil, and baked, loose on a cookie sheet. Still somewhat crunchy. Good Eats.

We She has made them several times. Very good. Cookie sheet, lined with aluminum foil. Green beans, tossed in olive oil, with minced garlic, pepper, and whatever you feel creative with. Spread on to cookie sheet, and bake, (at the temp. you already have the oven at) prolly not more than 10 minutes. Hot, and steamy, but still with a lot of crunch. Plus, the olive oil/garlic, takes it away from seeming like "just a veggie", and more of a "dish". Good luck, enjoy.

What about heated, but still crunchy green beans? (that's how I like them ) Steamed...only way to go! But I voted for Taters and Salad, nobody in the house will eat your other suggestions, and I would eat anyone of your suggestions. The appetites of the many outweigh the appetites of the few...or the one.

Spuds and corn. Wouldn't eat meatloaf any other way.
BTW, I have a truly excellent meatloaf recipe. Got it off a girl from Illinois so you can count on it.
