Jazz/Rockets predictions? Now with spoilers.
« on: May 05, 2007, 02:14:10 PM »

Even though the Rockets are at home and odds are on them, I think tonight's game is the Jazz's to lose. If they can keep running, and make Yao and T-Mac work hard all night long, they can wear them down. I don't see the Rockets having anyone who can really step up to fill the void. The Jazz roster is deeper and (IMHO) more talented player for player, particularly bench against bench. (If I were Jerry Sloan, I'd start Paul Millsap, that kid was hardcore last game.) The Jazz have basically won 9/12 quarters in the three games they've lost this series. If they can play a full 48 minutes, they should win.

My prediction: GSW will be in Salt Lake City on Monday night. 87-82 final.

Agreed.

Jazz win. They now understand that the Rockets=McGrady and will be effective in shutting him down.

EDIT: Agreeing with spaceage. Aske slipped in there.

Both teams come out with a lot of energy. Jazz w/ two early turnovers. Houston scores off one, shoots an airball off the other. Tied 2-2.

Yao with an early foul. Jazz playing good inside D, but continue to leave the perimeter open. Battier picks up a 3. 6-5 Jazz.
