Never have. Never will.
I'm a two handed texter and that would mean I'd have to let go of the wheel AND my beer.

I don't do it. For what it's worth, I don't use a cell phone while I'm driving either.

I have a new phone and a new plan as of last month. (Qwest. I actually told the girl to put in the comments that I was renewing with them mostly because they told BushCo to go get a *goshdarn* subpoena if they wanted to look at call records, but that's a different thread), and I have text that I've literally never used. I have a friend that texts me, but I just call her back. It takes me 5 minutes to put 3 words in...

Fair enough? lol, yes, fair enough. Actually, I don't abbreviate much either (except for lol, rofl, ttyl, brb, and a few others). I just added that because texting has made abbreviations even more common place.
