The greasiest fry you can possibly cook up.  Rashers, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, pudding, fried bread, etc. followed by quarts of water.

Or a long nap.

I like salty foods and tons of water and/or juice.  A little "hair of the dog that bit you" works too. Cheesy

Apparently Ibuprofen isn't a good idea.  It's hard on the liver and kidneys, and the liver and kidneys got enough of a workout the night before.  Acetaminophen might be a better alternative.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is more strongly associated with kidney and liver function problems than is ibuprofen, though I believe over use of any painkiller or anti-inflammatory can cause liver dysfunction of varying degrees.

My vote goes to a greasy breakfast and a bit of the "hair of the dog" followed by copious amounts of water. 60% of the time it works every time.

(I also find that working out helps, but it depends on the severity of the hangover.)

Your reasons for using Tylenol sound good.  I wish it worked for pain for me, since I have heard many times that it's easier on your body.

I wasn't aware of that about acetaminophen.

I guess if acetaminophen and ibuprofen are out, that leaves asa.  And if that's no good, I guess you can always slam your thumb with a hammer.  That'll take away your headache. Shocked
