Well, That Was 3 Hours I'll Never Get Back.

LOTR ROTK. What a hokey ass, predictable waste of airtime. I know I don't really appreciate good cinematic "art", but come on??!! But, sometimes I'm in the mood to palate a little more than Bill and Ted. How many times in the damn movie do we need to see Frodo fall down in frustration, and exhaustion, only to look up, find the determination, and the will to rise, and drive on? I stopped counting at around 30. We get it. It's important. He really should put in a little effort to get the job done. Why not just give the *fudge*in' thing to Rudy? He didn't seem to ever get tired. He carried your ass half the movie. And what's with the idiot fat kid? Couldn't somebody write him some lines? And the delivery! I liked him better in Goonies. Can I get another full on battle cry, followed by 30 full minute replays of the same slash and hack fight jobs. I mean didn't they just take a bunch of Braveheart footage, and paint armor on them? And then there's Picard..........Don't get me started.

BIL #2 and I watched it in the theater, and he leaned over and said approximately the same thing: 'Yeah, got it. Let's move on, please'.

Well OK, although it didn't bother me that much, they may have overdone the whole "poor, struggling Frodo" a bit, but overall the movie is magnificent.

LMAO! I knew half way through writing it, that would be your response. I realized the blasphemous nature of my words, and the angst, and ire, they would invoke. Don't get me wrong. You know me. On the Hawking scale, I fall comfortably in the middle. I'm certainly not a 10. Like these gentlemen. "......but rest assured. I was online immediately, registering my complaint."

Geez, stroh. Have a little consideration for the midget. I bet if we took off your socks and shoes and had you walk over rugged, snow-covered terrain and up an active volcano after getting the life sucked out of you by a giant spider and being constantly tormented by a crazed naked dude that wants to bite off your finger, I bet you'd just sit there and cry like a little girl.
Of course, I really mean "consideration for the vertically challenged one".

Ha! Indeed I would.
In fact, the scenario you laid out, actually parallels my situation, this past Friday. As I was curled up in the fetal position, just off the 4th green. Crying like........well.
