"healthcare is a right that should be afforded to all humanity"
"do you really trust the government to manage that? personally, I don't. I think glorious insurance corporations have my health and interests in mind. If they didn't , the free market would come up with alternatives. And Sean Hannity said giving annual checkups to minorities promotes the continued existence of a perpetual welfare state. Oh. and just look at canada, their richest .0001% goes to 'merka for care instead"

Aske's been lurking FIG's again.
I for one am proud to live in a country that places it's belief in Free Markets over the welfare and lives of 40 million of it's citizen's.

I don't get all the fuss about the free market driving innovation and how that's a bad thing. I'd rather have 3000 profit-motivated scientists working on it than 3 altruistic but underfunded scientists fiddling around part-time. And do people realize how much it runs to get through FDA approval?

Nobody thinks the free market driving innovation is a bad thing, but when the free market is leaving millions out in the cold, and that number goes up every single year, there's something wrong with that picture.
Even people that have coverage are paying more and more for less and less, which doesn't sound like any kind of successful 'Market Dynamic' to this Libtard....

Free enterprise rulesStartup using $5000 tax return to 2.78 million in sales for the second year. What Clive said. I don't know the answer but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with government running health care.

Nobody thinks the free market driving innovation is a bad thing, ... Sorry, I just assumed this was yet another thread mocking prokrop's posting on FGI.

It is obviously a preemptive mockery of your anticipated response. You're slipping to be sure... but the burning and chaffing does give you a good excuse.

If you are really interested in Healthcare and the associated costs, I suggest "Money Driven Medicine" as the next book you read.
