Let's see the GolfHos pets

Been thinkin' about this since I saw Spaceys "Monte" at the other place. So let's see 'em. Ozzy's first day with me. The cats checkin' him out. The dude loves to play. And he LOVES laying with his stuffed bear. The Oz, he's prematurely gray, dunno why? I have to tell you about Tommy, I've never been a real cat person, but Tommy is the coolest, he is a full blooded Manx (no tail) pure white, and the prettiest blue eyes (but he's macho, don't get me wrong), he came to live with us when he was six months old, 3 or 4 months later he developed a "thing" around his eye, I took him to the vet, the receptionist took one look at him and asked me if he was deaf, "dunno?...how would I know?", well she says yell at him or something when he's asleep. I've kinda done that around him when he was sleeping, but I thought he was just a deep sleeper. I wrote a story about Tommy the Deaf Manx Cat, "You Took my Tail and my Ears". This is our Tommy, he's a deaf kid, but he don't play no pinball.

blue eyes + all-white coat = deafness
Same thing with dogs. Very weird.

Murphy the Dog. Mother was an English Setter, Father was a travelin' man. She'll be 12 this fall. Still pretty active but obviously bored with the picture taking this morning.

Father was a travelin' man LOL...Ozzy's dad was a "travelin' man too! Sad ending though, he was killed crossing a busy street with one of Ozzy's brothers. Hey! Murphy's a setter version of "Pete" the Lil' Rascals dog.

Yep. She's got a lot of black spots as well (some have faded with age) and a lot of people at first think she's a dalmation mix. But the black eye patch is what everyone notices.

Great pics! The one with Ozzy and the cats is awesome! Here's Dusty as a puppy. He used to sleep on his back. Here's a more recent pic.

I can't seem to locate the disk that has Monte's puppy pictures on it. Of course no disrespect to any other dogs at all. Just have a soft spot for mutts like Tommy the Dog.

Here's Dusty as a puppy. He used to sleep on his back. LMAO! dys., How is the demeanor of the beagle? Good around kids? Despite my deep hatred of dags, I'm sure I'll be forced to break down and acquire one in the future. You know, for Maddie. My neighborhood doesn't have nearly enough small children to support a dog like Spacey's. A Lab is way to big. I don't look anything like Jack McFarland, so there is no way I could pull off having a trendy dog like Clive's Bavarian RidgeRacers.

It's good around kids, but it's not the sharpest tool in the toolshed. It also howls like a sumbitch.

And very tolerant of kids pulling on his ears and tail. The downsides are that he's very food-oriented, and can't walk with us off-leash since he'll just take off after a scent. He'll also howl if he thinks the pack left him behind (like when we go to work). We had to get a no-bark collar when the neighbors complained.
