Just returned. My couch has never looked so good.

At $10.75 a drink, I didn't make too big of a dent in Vegas's bourbon supply. A cab ride to the liquor store proved to be a much more economical alternative.

The wedding was nice. My new sister in law informed me that she had heard 68,000 new wedding licenses were issued in Las Vegas for 7/7/07. I wouldn't be surprised, everywhere you looked a bride was to be seen.

Played golf yesterday with an old friend who lives in Vegas at a place in Sun City called Highland Falls. The course was decent, but it was around 109° and it was nearly a 5 hour round. The heat and the pace really took me out of my game and I shot a 107. I still had a good time and the cold post-round Spaten Optimators went down smoothly.

The Wynn is a beautiful hotel, and our corner room afforded us a fantastic view of the strip. At the rates they charge it was likely the only time we'll ever stay there.

Now to decompress...

Nevada blows.  I spent a week there yesterday.
