Where did you propose?

 

lol. It's a long story involving the Gallivan Center closing earlier than anticipated, a girlfriend who didn't want to wait until the next night to see Christmas lights, and sheer panic and terror over simply wanting to get the deed done. Well, okay, I guess it's not a long story, because that's it.

In my girlfriends living room.  Her father had a shotgun and evil intentions. 

On the north side of Lake Hefner Dam wall.

In the afternoon I went out and got some champagne and some glasses and stashed them over the side of the dam wall.

That evening we went to her fave restaurant and took the scenic way home.

I drove up on the dam where I stashed the goods earlier and stopped the car right beside it, or so I hoped.  We were in a convertible so we sat looking at stars and saying nonsensical romantic things.  After some canoodle type stuff we got out of the car and I reached over the wall (having spied the exact stash location) and pulled out the glasses and fizzy chit.  It was late November so it was fairly well chilled.

As she was reeling from the excitement of my discovery I asked her if she would wash my smalls from here on in, or similar.

I was scared that someone would have come along in the hours between placement and retrieval and drunk the gear or *feces* in the bag, or something.

No such luck....
