What remake would you like to see happen?

Whilst Jack Lemmon's performance was immpecable, I'd also like to see 'Days of Wine and Roses' redone.  A little more edgy naked and noir.

'The Quiet Man' would be good too, although I think Maureen O'Hara was the most beautiful woman (in her day) to ever walk the face of the planet.  Maureen O'Hara (in her day) makes all other women pale in comparison.  Even in that lame ass Disney production of the parent trap.

'Unforgiven' and 'Open Range' are good candidates too.  Get rid of Clint and Kevin.

With a few revisions in the screenplay and better actors, 'Cold Mountain' could be a good movie.

I did/do enjoy the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.  I would like to see it redone without Viggo Mortensen (Mortenson?)  I think a better lead could have been found.
