So yesterday I was off to the Minnesnowta State Fair for a day of fun. And truly it was. I also came home with a new pet.

If he tries to interest you in a snack at some point, avoid the apples.
We may try to go next Friday. We'll see.

Snake! Yep, and he requires very little attention - absolutely none. He can't grow too big for my room or die either.

I purchased him right after I finished eating my second apple. Had a lot of fun, though it was a bit wet at times. Hmm... I read your first line wrong at first. "Snack" was read as "snake". And I'm thinking, "I really don't get it; what does that have to do with anything ", but I'll try to respond anyway. Reread it and lol! Btw, it wouldn't matter now; the world's already imperfect.

Never pictured you as a snake fan....
I'm a daddy's girl through and through. And even though I have spent time baking & cooking since I was a small tot, it's only been the last 8 years (especially the last 4) that I really started enjoying the domestic pleasures with my mom. Most of my childhood was spent outside chasing (and catching, too!) snakes and frogs, or in the woods tracking and learning to track animals, studying animal habitats, learning the different fowl species, and lots of sports. Interspersed there was cooking and baking (mostly weekdays, as weekends were full), and a little bit of sewing, not much shopping though 'cause stores used to bring on an asthma attack in very little time for my mom. As a result, I like snakes and frogs (and other critters, too), and archery & riflery, motorcycles & other vehicles, sports (especially football, hockey, and baseball), and doing little mechanic & plumbing jobs, among other things. My little pet won't be on display long though, my mom and grandma aren't too fond of those creatures - even fake ones. Guess he'll have to go in with my other 2 from previous fairs. He's probably safer there anyway... Garrett would probably stretch him if he's left out too long.

Eagle, I am not a snake girl. Last year I came upon a snake on the course, I screamed and jumped and carried on so much, people came running to me, as they thought that I had been bitten by the snake!!!! I'm sorry, but I think the only good snake, is a dead snake. I can't even look at them on tv!

Seriously, don't apologize, each is entitled to their own point-of-view. Not to mention, most people share yours. I'm just not normal, I guess. hehe. And technically, my "pet" is dead. For that matter, it was never alive. Guess that means it's a good snake and you're free to like 'im.
