My signature is sort of a modified half-assed cursive. Other than that, I really can't do it anymore without a tremendous amount of effort. The muscle memory is shot, so I have to carefully consider how to write each letter.

lol, I remember trying a few years ago, and my hand cramped up!  I vowed to never attempt it again.

The closest I come to cursive these days is when writing the occasional check, using a weird mix of cursive and print.  I haven't done a Capital F, Q, or Z in at least 15 years.

I was actually wondering if it was still taught in schools.

Same here pretty much.  Only my signature would put Zapf Dingbats to shame.

Outside of signing my name, I would have to guess 1985, 11th grade english.  I had a real prick of a teacher who used to used mark all of my essays down for poor penmanship.  1986, welcomed home the TRaSh 80 and have been butchering the language in that format ever since.

Daily.  Most of the time I write cursive, though there are times that printing is interspersed.  I'm not very artistic when it comes to drawing, so writing is one of the things in which I explore creativity.  Notes, cards, formal stuff is always written in my personalized cursive hand.  Printing (also personalized just for me) is usually a note to kids or some such thing, or sometimes a jotted reminder, too, though that usually is cursive.  My script typically appears when I'm jotting a note and am not taking the time for it to look nice or if I am plainly and simply am in a real hurry, and is a mix of cursive and printing.  Basically, what that means, is I knock of the swirls, no extra-special capital letters, letters that easily join are, those that don't aren't.  Thus, I might have a capital printed "F" then a cursive "a" that flows into a printed "n".  In "you", the y is printed and the "ou" are cursive.  Then there's calligraphy.  Blank note cards are so much better (i.e. more fun) than the ready-made ones.  Fonts like "Gothic57" and "Old English" are a lot of fun to put on paper, then there are the less-formal formal styles that would be similar to "Calligrapher" and other fonts.  Then there is the personalized calligraphy style.  Oh, yeah, writing is fun.

My printing has been mistaken as cursive writing.
