I thought we already established that approximately 1/3 of 'merkans are in fact complete morans iehttp://www.cbsnews.com/st...n/polls/main1350874.shtml

I remember.
There are three things in my life that have left indelible impressions on me, where I can tell you where I was, what I was doing, and how I heard the news: The Challenger explosion; my grandfather's death; and 9/11. I doubt any one of those memories will ever fade.

Me too.  'Cept it was my grandfather not yours.  I'd also add the Reagan and Lennon shootings.  You might be a tad young for those I guess.

I don't recall your grandfather's death. I have very, very vague memories of Lennon being killed, but I wasn't quite 7 years old at the time so I don't remember details so much as I am able to recount them from the numerous reports I have read subsequently. I have little to no recollection of the Reagan assassination attempt beyond having a general childhood awareness of the name John Hinkley Jr. Surprising, given my parents being liberals and all. Though at the time I think they were big Reagan boosters. You'd think I'd remember it.
