I wouldn't discount the effect of the temperature. It's still 98 degrees in Phoenix, and I'm sure the Steelers were forced to wear their black jerseys.

what was really annoying was dan beerdorf even noticing the obvious. somewhere in the 1st half after the steelers were moving the ball he said (to the ffect of) "looks like the steelers want to pass today to set up the run." then they scored, went up 7-0, and went into run-happy mode achieving nothing. after they had an awesome punt with a penalty and rekicked- cards returnerer had an awesome return of about 75 yards to make it 14-7 cards. steelers still had a chance, but went into run mode again. once the game was over (21-7 with 4:change to play)..... they went no huddle, and yes, even though the cards were in the prevent.... the passing game started to click again. if nate washington could run routes or catch what is thrown to him it might have been a game, in spite of the steelers .
