My day was worse than yours....

I will not argue this point.
Awoke at 6:30 am with an odd, but slightly familiar, feeling in my lower right back area. Thinking nothing of it I proceeded to the bathroom for my morning ritual. As I was standing before the porcelain throne some invisible being must have snuck up behind me and stabbed me with a red hot knife.
Either that or a 3mm Renal Calculi was ripping it's way through my ureter. I vaguely remember screaming in pain as I dropped to my knees.
Susan took me to the emergency room to 1. Fulfill my desire to GET ME SOMETHING FOR THE *goshdarn* PAIN!!! 2. Confirm my amateur diagnosis.
I went through this once before in 1994, hence the slightly familiar twinge I felt. After confirmation and location of said kidney stone (it was halfway to the bladder), they sent me home with some Vicodin. From 1:00-2:30 my friend was trying to make the second half of his journey. At least I had something to take the edge off for this portion of the adventure.
Thank you in advance for your concern for this whimpering humid grotto.

Get better soon. Nothing like good drugs to take the edge off.

I was kind of bitching to myself about spending my last week's vacation of the year cleaning out the attic and cellar under my wife's supervision.
You, my friend, have all my sympathy.

Thanks everybody. Haven't had any discomfort since ~2:30. And it seems like things are returning to normal.

Thanks everybody. Haven't had any discomfort since ~2:30. And it seems like things are returning to normal. Do you think your butt itch was a sign of your impending passing of a kidney stone?
