Now Mfawgie, what have you actually tried to use, to clean your dryer!!!!!!
Procrastination. I swiped at it with some lighter fluid to no avail. The beer fridge was right there in the garage, so the next step was obvious...  Might as well try WD-40.  Nail polish remover can remove paint off a of vehicle, should be able to remove ink. Um, AJAX is pretty good for grease and stuff. Might work for ink. I still think vinegar and baking soda should work. |

Seriously, in the post above, I was only half teasing about wd-40. It's recommended for lipstick stains, tomato stains, and a whole lot else. Just be sure to clean off the wd-40 when you're done. Of course, that's just as bad as lighter fluid. If not worse. Hairspray can be used as a cleaner, too. Cologne can take ink off a leather couch. That might be the closest match. Or just try the vinegar and baking soda. |

Ballpoint ink isn't water-based, so you'll have to use some kind of solvent like acetone (as mentioned earlier) or denatured alcohol. The 6% alcohol by volume in beer (presuming it's not light beer, which is even less) won't do. |
