The little traitor
« on: October 24, 2007, 08:13:42 AM »

I tried to dress my daughter in purple and black this morning, but she wanted to wear green pants that matched a green flower that was on embroidered on the purple shirt. I told her that the green pants were too big for her and insisted that she wear the black pants. She started bawling and ran off to her mother. Meanwhile, I had to change my son's diaper and get him dressed. When I started heading downstairs with my son, I see that my daughter decided to pick out an entire outfit for herself. She was wearing the green pants obviously, but she wasn't wearing the purple shirt. She changed to a light blue shirt, and get this. This is no joke. She put on red socks!  Shocked

We'll see if I help pay for her college tuition in about 15 years.  Devil

That's precisely why Laura doesn't let me dress myself.

I don't blame her.  Purple is a hard color for most people to pull off (except for Grimace).

I never cared what my oldest put on as long as she got dressed. Be your own dog is what I would say. My wife would try and fight it but that wasn't a hill I was ready to die for.

Now, she's becoming a little fashion maven and everything needs to look right, etc. etc.

Define "elite"  Devil

I say yes. But there are a number of variables.

Imagine my disappointment when I googled this only to find out it's a reference to an Adam Sandler movie. Some esotericism is better left as such.
