Unca Bill O'Reilly disagrees: But this Colbert guy is another story. He is promoting his book by running for president, a strategy borrowed from comedian Pat Paulsen of Smothers Brothers fame.
Now, Colbert's run for the presidency is being sponsored by Doritos, which may be illegal. So we hope Colbert is sentenced to prison or to house arrest, where he has to continuously watch his own program. That is what can happen to pinheads. Now THAT'S funny.

I don't live in Oregon.
The Republicrats have crushed all the freedom out of Washington, although I'll give the state credit for fighting it all the way to the Supreme Court...

You should. Papa Bear and Oregon deserve each other.

Actually grew up in Oregon, and would move back in a second.
Prefer somewhere on the dry side of the hill...

I was in Portland last week. Top 5 of all cities I've personally visited and one that I would definitely entertain moving to if circumstances required it. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Oregonian parlance is not my strong suit. Is the dry side of the hill = east of the Cascades?
I spent a week in Klamath Falls once. Beautiful part of the country to be sure. It's near Crater Lake which is obviously in the mountain range but it has a high desert climate. Thought perhaps that's what you meant.

Exactly. South of Roseburg or so, or anywhere east of Warm Springs...
